The Apponequet Boosters Club was formed in 1982 to provide support (financial and otherwise) for all Athletic activities at Apponequet. During this period the Club has raised over $200,000 to pay for scholarships, equipment, coaches salaries, referee expenses and other costs for our outstanding programs. We, who are concerned with the educational development of students through athletics, feel that a well organized sports program meets the needs for students' self expression, mental alertness, and physical growth. It is our hope to help maintain a program that is sound in purpose and will further each student's educational maturity. |

Donations September 2005 to April 2006 Include: $120 for Otto Graham Footbal award ceromoney. $75 for Hockey Team sponsorship. $8,931 for Baseball outfield fence and saftey top. $6,500 for Basball storage shed and concession area. $664 for Girl's Swim Team awards $55 for Tennis and Swim Team banner updates. $300 for Boy's and Girls, Dave Cowans Basketball awards dinner. $1,027 to repair PA system in the Gym. $433 for supply of Varsity letters and pins. $1,450 for Tennis Court windscreens. $280 to sponsor inductes to the Alumni Hall of Fame banquet. $1,000 startup donation to the Grand Slam Softball Tournament. $5,000 in scholarships to the Class of 2005. Total Donations in excess of $25,835. Special thanks to PJ Keating and KR Rezendes for donation of stonedust to finish the baseball warning track. |
